Working with Nutmeg Publishing, UConn’s student-run yearbook and magazine, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my time at college. As a photographer, I’ve been able to explore the full spectrum of campus life—covering events, clubs, performances, as well as the quiet in-between moments that tell the real story of UConn. Each assignment brought me into new spaces and introduced me to people and communities I may have never met otherwise.
I’ve become more observant and connected to the place I call home. Documenting the experiences of others has broadened my understanding of what it means to belong at UConn.
